A letter to all Brothers & Sisters Involved in Christian Motorcycle Ministry:
Over the last few months as I read letters and emails from Christians who ride, I see an underlying illness with Christian groups of riders. I see God coming in second after our bikes. I read disturbing things in the name of Christ as to what are so called ministries. Let us not forget what Jesus said to the Church of Ephesus in REV 2:4 "Never the less I have something against you, you have left your first love." Friends let us not worship the creation (our bikes) but the creator. Friends, we have three enemies in our lives, Satan, the world and our flesh. I have an email stating "I would rather be on my bike thinking about Jesus instead of sitting in church thinking about riding." Another ministry asks for blessings on the chrome of the bikes instead of witnessing to the lost and unsaved. My prayer is that we, the Christian biker community would search out our own hearts and put Christ back on the throne of our lives. It's not about us, it's about Him. May the Lord speak to all of us on this matter.
